I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Chile, working in a small co-op with poor women who lived in the country. They routinely stole the office toilet paper. I finally learned to bring my own TP to the office. And lock it in my desk. Not to keep the country women from stealing it but to keep my co-workers from stealing it. Because of course the country women had stolen the bathroom TP so my co-workers wanted to use mine.
